What will I be doing?

The Hilton corporate summer internship program offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to gain real world experience at one of our key corporate locations. The program is intended to develop the business leaders of tomorrow. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership, work on important projects, participate in learning and development opportunities and join in networking and social events with other Team Members and fellow interns.


The Call Center Technology Team is looking for an individual pursuing a degree in a technology or business related major. The team member will be working with HRCC, Hilton’s global inbound contact center, on AWS Cloud reporting and analytics projects and tasks.


The internship will begin in June and end in August. Interns will work full-time during the 10-week program.


More specifically, you will:

  • Support the department mission of serving as a trusted adviser to HRCC leadership regarding contact center operations tools and services, the value delivery chain and data generated and consumed by those services.
  • Follow Hilton project management standards and working through internal and external resources, deliver successful projects per agreed timelines and scope.
  • Harvest data from operations tools to improve customer experience, decision-making making and overall operational performance of the customer engagement hub.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
  • Basic network fundamentals, Infrastructure understanding (networks, LANs)
  • Proficiency with web/scripting languages: PHP, SQL, JavaScript
  • Currently a college/university junior or senior
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Can be on-site and work at assigned location
  • Can work in the US without employment sponsorship

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Pursuing a MA/MS Master's Degree
  • Experience with Linux and open source development tools
  • Cloud/DevOps fundamentals
