The award-winning Hampton Inn & Suites is now seeking an experienced, dynamic, and customer service focused Guest Services Manager!

Great Opportunity for a Customer Service Focused Individual

The ideal candidate will have prior hotel front desk experience (Hilton preferred) and some management background. This position requires an upbeat, dependable and responsible individual that is willing to ensure 100% guest satisfaction at all times.

Responsibilities

The Guest Service Manager is responsible for leading a team of Guest Service Representatives and assisting and guiding them to provide excellent customer service to all guest. This person will assist in meeting all guest needs from check in to check out, giving directions, assisting with issues, and helping ensure that all guests have a 100% satisfaction stay. 

POSITION STANDARDS & ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  •  Trains, schedules, and councils all employees
  • Conducts regular staff meetings
  • Promotes the QTR culture and the core ideology
  • Communicates Guest Satisfaction scores
  • Operates within budgetary guidelines
  • Promotes and encourages team work at all times
  • Makes sound decisions and identifies problems and offers solutions
  • Demonstrates knowledge of O&R and brand success plans
  • Providing information to guests about hotel policies, services and amenities
  • Responding to requests from guests for assistance and information about the local area (e.g. directions, places to eat)
  • Selling rooms to "walk in" customers
  • Entering/changing reservations information on the computer
  • Posting charges to guests accounts
  • Processing payments from guests
  • Making necessary corrections to guest accounts
  • Informing housekeeping department about room status/availability
  • Listening and responding to guests’ requests and complaints
  • Operating hotel switchboard
  • Cleaning the front desk area
  • Maintaining daily logs
  • Balancing shift work and cash drawers
