The Banquet Chef de Partie reports directly to the Executive Chef and Banquet Sous Chef
What will I be doing?
As Banquet Chef de Partie, you would be responsible for preparing, seasoning, cooking and testing food items in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Support Company’s philosophy and company culture
Responsible for all aspects of quality control, supervision and production for their area.
Act as a team player helping wherever needed.
Prepare foods as outlined in the Banquet Event Orders.
Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation standards
Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles.
Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.
Clean, stock, and restock workstations.
Find ways to improve efficiency in the operation
Strive for perfection, 100% guest satisfaction
Assist outlet line with coverage when low volume in banquet
Assist with outlet food ordering
Other duties as assigned
