Our Global HR team partners with our business leaders to attract, retain, and develop Hilton's most important asset, our Team Members.

What will I be doing?

As Manager, HR Strategy, you will drive and provide strategic support for the Talent and Rewards team and its leaders. You will report to the Director of HR Strategy, as part of the People Analytics and Strategy team. This team operates as a shared service for all areas of HR, as well as other key partners across the organization, creating opportunities to collaborate on unique projects. Our HR initiatives are global, cross-functional projects that are at the heart of providing a great place to work for our team members at Hilton. The Manager will deliver insights to our leaders that drive decision-making, execution and investments for some of Hilton's most critical Talent & Rewards initiatives. This role requires an analytical savvy, a problem-solving sophistication and a drive to make the highest possible impact. You thrive in a fast-paced environment that calls for you to be resourceful and think on your feet. You can look at a situation, deconstruct and have the foresight to anticipate what could be. You can also step back, and assess how to best integrate and drive connection, planning and strategic discussion across leaders and teams.

More specifically, you will:
  • Develop strategic stories and define priorities that help HR maximize the company’s investment in people
  • Act as a strategic consultant within HR by developing practices and relationships with HR leaders to create best-in-class executive level presentations and recommendations
  • Collaborate with the HR Analytics team to use data insights to drive HR related business decisions
  • Provide thought leadership on the complete Team Member journey, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to managing attrition
  • Leverage market data to develop content themes/topics
  • Align projects, communications and events across Talent and Rewards functions, ensuring focus and prioritization
  • Be the main POC for consolidation across Talent and Rewards team efforts, organizing key projects, communications and events – including but not limited to Leadership Planning sessions and offsites


What are we looking for?

We are seeking a utility player in a dynamic function, willing to combine strategy, communication and project management skills to define and enable priorities for HR and drive engagement across the Talent & Rewards team. We believe success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • Strong verbal, visual and written communicator who will positively influence Hilton’s partners and communicate effectively at all levels
  • A compelling and insightful storyteller with an understanding of key HR metrics, who can compile presentations that communicate insights and recommendations
  • Problem solver who is flexible and creative in finding solutions for hard problems
  • Self-starter who takes initiative, and possesses adaptability to last minute change
  • A multitasker with team/utility player mindset

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Four (4) years of experience in HR, consulting, strategy and/or communications role
  • High proficiency in PowerPoint and producing executive ready presentations

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
