Marriott’s Global Design Strategies team is looking for the blending of “left-brain” and “right-brain” skills to marry business and strategic rigor to expand the discipline with an innovator’s know-no-boundaries creativity. This position requires a flexible thinker and outstanding communicator who is comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing different personalities and perspectives. You will work closely across various functional areas, including, Design, CX, Brand, Operations and Development as you help push out the boundaries of physical design innovation for Marriott’s 30 brands throughout the world.
You’ll also collaborate with the SVP and multi-disciplinary teams to research and lead the design of best-in-class physical designs in the hospitality industry. You’ll oversee and produce both tools and design prototypes—anything you need to help you articulate your ideas. You’ll use your leadership skills and design talents to lead projects and teams, as well as work independently to create original designs. You’ll have a demonstrated experience of working with internal and external partners, vendors and creative partners to deliver innovative solutions. You’ll concept, pitch and implement solutions that deliver results, while meeting complex challenges with creativity and “rise to the occasion” mindset.
You will best flourish with an individual who is a self-starter, embody a disruptor mindset, are natural collaborators and influencers, and capable of driving program delivery.
