About This Job

Position Purpose:  

The Facilities Supervisor helps to coordinate and supervise the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the property or facility, grounds, and associated equipment.  They oversee the facilities team members work and projects, tracking service requests, and ensuring requests are completed within established timelines and quality standards.  The Facilities Supervisor maintains a safe and effective work environment.

Essential Duties and Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Work under direction of the Director of Facilities/Facilities Manager and property General Manager.
  • Maintain a high level of positivity and professionalism with guests, team members, and external partners.
  • Support Director of Facilities/Facilities Manager in performing all activities involved in preventive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance, cleaning, repair and renovation of buildings, mechanical systems, physical facility, and grounds.
  • Supervise Facilities team members and projects.
  • Execute preventive maintenance programs and oversee projects.
  • Help with the creation of the department and team member schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for work projects.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and address equipment and facilities breakdowns and follow-up with corrective action.
  • Conduct regular building and facilities general maintenance in other areas, including basic electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, tile, and landscaping.
  • Maintain effective health and safety protocols, including completion of risk assessments and implementation of established policies and procedures.
  • May include maintenance of pools, spas, and hot tubs.
  • Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at any of the properties.


Positions may be available in Taos, Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and Las Cruces


  • Minimum of 3 years of facilities maintenance or construction required.
  • Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Certified Pool Operator certification may be required.
  • OSHA Forklift or Scissor Lift certification may be required.
  • Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, and generators as well as various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities software and MS Office required.
  • Frequent walking, standing, climbing, lifting, stooping, or carrying of equipment and materials may be required; conditions could include outdoors, indoors, and confined spaces.
  • Ability to push/pull/lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • May be exposed to extreme or variant temperatures, high and precarious locations, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have current, unrestricted driver’s license and be able to maintain company group insurance.
