The Cashier / Dining Room Attendant will greet guests, take payment, receive deliveries, sanitize tables and touch points, and serve food as needed. This is a full-time hourly position and offers full benefits. Staff meals and a capital metro card for transportation are provided. Shift is either Mon-Fri AM or Sun-Thurs PM. The Cashier/Food Service Worker works primarily in the foodservice operation, handling cash and credit transactions from Sodexo customers. In addition, they will assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steamtables. Duties will include cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work stations. As a cashier, they must accurately operate the cash register/POS and complete the transactions. Will also provide support to the retail operation, including setup, maintaining supplies and products, and assisting in cleanup and closedown. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
