As Bartender, you will provide exceptional service to guests by promptly welcoming and courteously serving guests in a can-do fashion, engaging in polite conversation when time allows. Be fully informed of beverage and menu offerings, in anticipation of guest needs and to deliver highly attentive service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Display good customer relation skills and takes initiative to greet guests in a friendly manner.
  • Exercise good public and customer relations skills at all times.
  • Dispense alcoholic beverages and controls service to ensure customers do not become intoxicated in accordance with liquor and hotel and company policies and regulations.
  • Prepare drink orders per specified receipts and charge for such orders as they are prepared in the appropriate manner.
  • Comply with all liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies.
  • Perform side duties such as cleaning, garnish preparation, miscellaneous preparation, stocking, etc. Lift and carry heavy items, such as trays.
  • Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, wash and sanitize glasses and utensils. Clean work area.
  • Ensure all alcohol is removed from counters and tables prior to require closing time. Complete closing duties.
  • Ensure uniform and appearance is clean and professional.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge

  • TABC and Food Handlers required
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • Flexible work availability to include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand/walk/be in motion for duration of shift
  • Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight throughout duration of shift
  • Previous customer service experience preferred

Physical Aspects Of Position (Include But Are Not Limited To):

  • Standing, walking, lifting and carrying heavy objects throughout shift
  • The ability to lift, push, pull, carry a minimum of 25 pounds
  • Kneeling, pushing, pulling, bending
  • Ascending and/or descending ladders, stairs or ramps
