Description

The Food & Beverage Supervisor supervises Food & Beverage personnel for each designated shift. Assist with for hiring and training personnel. Provide a solid customer service base for Food and Beverage operations, knowledge of all equipment, State and Federal safety and health regulations as well as liquor laws.   

Responsibilities Include

• Oversee operations in Deli, Lodge, Timber Lounge, and floor beverage service.
• Assign employee responsibilities and monitor services for effectiveness.
• Monitor customer service and resolve complaints.
• Recommend staffing and scheduling based on department and shift needs.
• Maintain clean-as-you go policy in all work areas. Delegate specific jobs or duties to employees and follow up on operational standards.
• Assist F&B Lead Supervisor with employee recruitment, transfers, promotions, education/training and employee evaluations.
• Prepare required reports (daily, weekly, monthly and counseling).
• Communicate with other departments to coordinate activities and promote effective interdepartmental relations.
• Must present a well groomed appearance; be in appropriate business attire, including a valid gaming license at all times
• Attend all mandatory meetings/trainings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate. Serve safe Training 
• Two years experience in food & beverage.   
• One year supervisor experience in F&B  preferred 

Knowledge/Ability/Skills

• Knowledge of concession, fine dining, buffet, banquet and bar operations.  
• Skill in leadership, organization, communications, human relations and decision-making.
• Knowledge of quality controls in food and beverage, and State liquor laws.
• Skilled in customer service.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Must be organized friendly, detail oriented & conscious of high guest service requirements. 

Necessary Special Requirements

• Must be 21 at time of hire.  
• All employees must successfully pass a background investigation to be employed by the Casino.  
• Responsible for Compliance with the Casino’s Internal Control Policy & Procedure as it relates to the position’s stated job description.
