The unit is a permanent personnel dinning facility which serves commissioned officers and non-commissioned officers. I has at least on promotional meal each month. It also caters to the CG and her staff on a monthly basis. From time to time it may hosts meals for the Secretary of Defense, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and the Commandant of the Marine Corps and related staff. This is a very high profile unit that requires a lot of attention to detail. The unit will also compete for the Hill award this coming year.
The Sr. Cook will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
