This position is responsible for the primary 24x7x365 support, maintenance and system availability of the z/TPF mainframe platform which runs business critical Production, Test and Development application systems within this environment. Responsible for line management, task management, technical direction and overall Service Level accountabilities for the z/TPF mainframe infrastructure. The role participates in efforts researching, designing, documenting and implementing infrastructure components that are standards based, high performance, highly available and secure delivering the required business functionality.
Education and Experience
· Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification
· 7+ years’ overall experience in information technology
· 3+ years’ overall experience in z/TPF on Z mainframe technologies.
· 3+ years performing all aspects of zTPF Coverage work
· Experience in 24x7x365 operational support of mainframe systems
