Overview 

Clean and supply all daily assigned rooms and report all damage, mechanical deficiencies, suspicious activities or theft in accordance with all housekeeping procedures and standards.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities 

  • Services guest rooms using cleaning agents and equipment to ensure adherence to department policies

  • Removes inventories and replaces soiled linens and prepares rooms for guest arrivals

  • Organizes and/or replenishes guest room amenities while maintaining a clean and orderly cart stocked with adequate supplies

  • Receives assigned section keys, supplies and any priority room requests from the manager, turns in keys and unused supplies at the end of the shift

  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within areas of responsibility

  • Respond to guest requests and reports guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction

    Qualifications

  • Previous hotel cleaning experience is preferred

  • You have open availability

  • You are always able to work on weekends and holidays

  • Self-starting personality with an even disposition

  • You are able to communicate effectively with guests in English; Bilingual language abilities are preferred

  • You pay attention to details and go above and beyond to accomplish position responsibilities

    Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Employee will be frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Required to push cleaning cart and operate vacuums.

  • The use of various cleaning chemicals in order to clean appropriate surfaces and items.
