Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking an experienced part time Guest Attendant for our Woodspring Suites location in Linden, NJ.

Being an HMC Guest Attendant:
As a Guest Attendant with HMC, you will be the “face of the property” and the first point of contact for our guests. You will assist in front office operations in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, and you will be able to help out other departments as needed.

Guest Attendant Functions (to include, but not limited to):
Front Desk – oversee daily operations of the property in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
Guest Satisfaction – Attentiveness and anticipation of guest needs always, to include special requests and recommendations on local attractions
Sales – Give tours to potential guests and “close” the sale, outgoing marketing calls, etc.
Teamwork – Laundry assistance, managing inventory, inspecting room readiness, etc.
- 1+ years experience in customer service, preferably in hotel operations
- Knowledge of lodging point of sales systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Self-starter, able to prioritize projects and meet deadlines under pressure
- Reliable transportation
- Repetitive climbing of stairs, ladders
- Kneeling/squatting, standing for long periods of time
- Able to lift, push, and pull up to 20 lbs.
