About This Job

Position Purpose:

The HRIS Administrator provides support for all ADP Vantage applications and modules. Writes basic reports, queries, and provides support on special projects. Supports system setup, testing, implementations and upgrades. Partners with ADP on resolution of system issues. Provides training and support to end users. Responsible for data integrity audits and maintenance.

Essential functions and Responsibilities:

  • Creates, develops and maintains process and system documentation for ADP Vantage applications (to include process flow charts, approval flow charts, system integration flows and procedural documentation).
  • Maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, modules and work flows.
  • Documents requirements for new functionality or reporting.
  • Writes reports, queries, and provides support on special projects.
  • Creates tickets to track requests and ensures follow through to resolution.
  • Research trends, legal requirements and best practices for HR/Payroll systems and process.
  • Provides testing and validation of new functionality, patches applied to the system, and upgrades or implementations.
  • Drafts communications regarding system changes or updates.
  • Completes system setup and configuration based on defined requirements.
  • Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
  • Conducts routine audits of system data to ensure accuracy
  • Makes requests for updates to system security, as necessary.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
  • Opens support request tickets (SRs) with vendor and IT to research or fix issues.
  • Provides training to end users, as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years' experience in HR/Payroll systems -- preferably ADP Vantage, or other relevant business customer support experience.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Must be able to create process flow diagrams, develop charts and tables for reporting.
  • Must be able to work with Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with available data.
  • HR Systems experience, ADP Vantage preferred.
  • Must have strong human relations skills and be able to interact with a variety of constituency groups and executive leadership; utilize an empowering, participative style along with the ability to listen and consider views of others.
  • Possess the ability to handle a wide variety of responsibilities with little supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
