Description

A Housekeeping Attendant for the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and replenishing amenities to deliver an excellent Guest experience while attending guest requests in a timely manner.

What will I be doing?

As a Housekeeping Attendant for the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, you are responsible for cleaning guest rooms and replenishing amenities to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Housekeeping Attendant would also be required to manage guest requests. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

 

 


  • Clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms.

  • Vacuum rooms and corridors.

  • Change and replenish bed linen, towels and guest amenities in line with company guidelines.

  • Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks.

  • Restock and maintain trolley on daily basis.

  • Be environmentally aware and dispose of waste accordingly.

  • Attend guest requests in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.

  • Carry out lost property procedures.

  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.

A Housekeeping Attendant for the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values below:


  • Previous experience in Housekeeping.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service.

  • Excellent standards of clean.

  • High attention to details. 

  • Physically able to move / lift, large, heavy objects such as: Uniform railing, trolley with linen.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form, over the phone or in person.

It is advantageous in this position if you demonstrate the following capabilities and advantages:


  • Previous experience as a Housekeeping Attendant within a luxury environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administratative tasks. 

  • Pevious experience in Laundry.

A management agreement has been signed with Ward Holdings for the property, which is expected to start welcoming guests in Autumn 2017.
