Food Runner responsibilities include setting tables, serving food orders and removing used dishes and utensils. Ultimately, you will ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience by serving their food in a timely and accurate manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide excellent guest service.
• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately
• Acting as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
• Carry trays from tables and booths with soiled dishes, glassware, and silverware to kitchen and dishwasher.
• Fill beverage and ice dispensers.
• Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays.
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes, and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning.
• Stocks all areas of the venue.
• Communicating food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities (e.g. food allergies)
• Assures F&B areas are maintained in accordance with company standards, as well as all applicable regulations.
• Remains up-to-date on property events and hours of operation
• May be assigned to various venues throughout the property depending on business needs.
• Cooperates and communicates with all fellow team members, always exhibiting mutual respect and consistently projecting a positive, helpful image/attitude.
• Makes efforts to keep informed of company information and communications by participating in department meetings, huddles and reviewing property bulletin boards, digital signage, and company newsletter.
• Assists other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department.

• Maintains an attitude & philosophy consistent with the company Core Values and Standards of Behavior with internal & external guests
• Regular punctual attendance
• Ability to work required overtime

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 1+ years food service experience preferred
• 1+ years guest service experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to stand and walk for majority of shift
• Must be in good physical condition, position requires frequent physical labor including walking, standing, climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and carrying
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, pull, push 50lbs., with or without assistance
• Intermittent exposure to outside elements, but primarily an indoor position.
• Ability to work in an environment with second hand smoke
• Ability to work a schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays
• Strict adherence to schedule and attendance policy

ADDITIONAL NOTES:Must be able to obtain and maintain Arkansas State Licensing.Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check that may include fingerprinting, driver's and credit check.
