About us:

Four Points by Sheraton Auckland Hotel is working with the Ministry of Health utilising the hotel as a managed isolation facility to help return kiwis home. This is a temporary arrangement to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all guests and staff, in conjunction with the Ministry of Health, we have enhanced hotel policies and procedures in place during this time and full training and support will be given to you. This is a unique opportunity to work with different services such as The Ministry of Health, CCDHB, New Zealand's defence force and NZ Police whilst we all do our bit to protect New Zealand and return kiwis home. 

About the role:

This role will work closely with the HR Manager and is an exciting, varied and busy position which covers the complete HR function.

  • Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies and guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files as well as create and maintain filing systems. 
  • Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
  • Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures. 
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and property records, files, and information. 
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.  
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
