Summary Description:
Under the direction of the Supervisor and Manager, the Security Agent is responsible for providing security and protection for assets, persons, buildings and/or property, within the Casino by enforcing the rules and regulations along with the policies and procedures and providing excellent customer service Utilizing the Tesuque PROUD Guest Service Standards.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties or the job, the employee will be required to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time. The employee will use hands fingers to handle or feel various items, conduct repetitious movements and tasks such as operating a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. The employee will be required to talk for extended periods and must be able to hear and understand. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to fifty (50) pounds be able to help move people in medical or emergency situations.

Tesuque Casino, owned by the Pueblo of Tesuque, is located five minutes from the the historic Santa Fe Plaza and the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The property offers more than 800 slot machines and 10 table games. The Casino also features The Cottonwood Kitchen which provides live music.
The Pueblo of Tesuque has existed in the foothills of the gorgeous Sangre de Cristo mountains since as early as 1200 AD.
Tesuque is the Spanish variation of a traditional Tewa language name for “village of the narrow place of the cottonwood trees.” The beauty of this magnificent landscape also contributed to the design and construction of the casino, with massive walls of windows giving every guest a front row seat to some of the most spectacular imagery that nature has to offer.
