Shift: Sunday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm


Oversee shipping and receiving functions. Prepare items for shipment. Responsible for ordering and maintaining par inventories.   Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping lost and found items, return orders; receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.


  • Responsible for working with all departments to ensure Guest Satisfaction.
  • Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.
  • Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and non conformance to specifications.
  • Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
  • Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
  • Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.
  • Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.
  • Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Determines method and mode of shipment to customer requirements.
  • Prepares and expedites shipments: Determines labeling requirements including but not limited to: Assemble and pack product containers, preparing and affixing shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information for cartons, skids or other storage devices in an accurate manner including any special labels that are customer required. Prepares all shipping documents in a timely and accurate manner. Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage.
  • Proper operation of equipment to safety and productivity requirements, including but not limited to:
  • Lift truck or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas
  • Unpacks, examines, and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.

  • Responsible for performing “other duties” as assigned by management.


  • Must have exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Must have exceptional clerical skills for typing, filing, and the ability to use computer and internet     systems to research potential business leads and emailing.
  • Able to perform all computer functions as they pertain to this job including but not limited to :
  • Purchasing program
  • Microsoft windows
  • Various freight software
  • Label matrix programs


  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be able to lift and carry upwards to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area.
  • Manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including computers, calculators, registers, fax machines, and photo copiers, etc.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
  • Respond to visual and aural cues
