We are seeking a friendly, positive, service-oriented, highly energetic, and self-motivated Operations Supervisor to join our team. The Operations Supervisor will work closely with the hotel’s Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Sales teams. This position’s primary function is to serve as the point of contact for hourly associates as well as hotel guests. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for enhancing the customer experience along with having a high attention to detail and a strong team approach.
Job Requirements:
- Manage the day-to-day
operations of the either Housekeeping, Front Desk or Food & Beverage along
with the ability to
perform all required operating duties, coordinating daily tasks and conducting
daily pre-shift meetings.
- Maintain accurate records including cash handling, direct bill accounts, credit card receipts, credit card authorization forms and reconciliation, registration/reservation records, as well as other sensitive information and documentation.
- Manage rooms for straight
line availability and sell out opportunities; implement strategies to continually improve customer
satisfaction and occupancy levels.
- Enforcement of policies
and procedures established by Hilton, First Hospitality, and hotel management;
lead employees to meet expectations for productivity, quality and goal
accomplishments.
- Ensuring
all checklists and programs are followed and reviewed daily, work to confirm
processes have been followed and work is error free.
- Act
as Manager on Duty based upon demand or when leadership is unavailable; attend
and participate in operational meetings.
- Must be able to
speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the
workplace.
- Ability to manage
change effectively with clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Team building
effectiveness with organizational skills include time management, delegation
and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; diplomacy skills
and ability to build effective relationships.
- Good knowledge of
computers including Microsoft Office Programs.
- Ability to
prepare and analyze data figures and transcriptions prepared on and generated
by computer.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending,
climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity; must be able to sit,
stand and walk for hours at a time; must
be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work mornings, afternoons,
evening weekends/weekdays, holidays and rotating shifts.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as
assigned by management.
- Bi-lingual is a
plus.
