40 % - Assists in the assignments and verifies completion of routine maintenance and operation of physical structure of hotel, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment, which contributes to the safe and effective operation of the facility, visually inspects quality of work and assists in the directions of staff in tasks according to performance and productivity standards.
30% - Help manages the maintenance shop day to day operations, maintaining parts and supply inventories, ordering materials, monitoring MMS by assigning work tickets and following up to ensure completeness. Assign, monitor, and follow up on all Preventative Maintenance programs.
20% - Assist the Assistant Director of Property Operations in administrating programs involving electrical, mechanical, and general construction of repairs and maintenance of existing facilities equipment.
10% - Ensure maintenance shop, mechanical rooms, and storage areas are kept clean and in order. Monitor tool room daily to ensure all tools are accounted for and in good condition.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONSIn addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be determined solely by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.
OTHER DUTIES
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Crescent Hotels and Resorts from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Team Members with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, Team Members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort.
Upon employment, all Team Members are required to fully comply with Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of the hotel facilities. Team Members who violate resort rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years experience in facility maintenance
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES: Ability to obtain any government license or certificates and a valid Arizona driver’s license.
GROOMING: All Team Members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).
OTHER: Computer skills in Micro-soft and Excel programs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Performing these duties requires experience in using basic hand and power tools and the ability to stoop, kneel, grasp, lift, push and pull weights up to 80 lbs., climb ladders up to 40 feet high and reach in all directions, often times overhead.
