66 Room Hotel
Amidst the shops, restaurants and theaters of downtown Marquette, overlooking Lake Superior, discover the Landmark Inn, featured in the New York Times. Old-world European splendor and charm meet modern convenience at our AAA Three-Diamond Marquette, MI hotel that welcomed its first guests as The Northland Hotel in 1930.
From the beginning, the hotel was the social hub of Marquette, counting Amelia Earhart, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong and The Rolling Stones among its guests. Following a meticulous renovation, the grand architecture and interiors remain, complemented by a fresh, up-to-date ambiance ideally suited for modern travelers. Each room and suite is opulently furnished and individually decorated, with many featuring fireplaces, deep-soaking claw-footed tubs and views of Lake Superior.
The Landmark is home to the top dining experiences in Marquette, from inspired Northern Italian fare at the Piedmont to the cozy Northland Pub to the rooftop North Star Lounge, which offers floor-to-ceiling views of the city skyline and Lake Superior.
The hotel that ushered in a new era of grace and refinement to downtown Marquette continues to do so to this day – with exceptionally personalized service delivered by a warm, friendly staff.
