About This Job

Pyramid Network Services, LLC has an opening for a Vice President of Finance at our corporate office located in East Syracuse, NY. The person hired on for this role will be responsible for managing the financial well-being for Pyramid Network Services, LLC and its affiliated entities. These functions & responsibilities include but are not limited to, preparing, and reviewing financial reports, managing cash flow requirements, preparing financial projections, and directing staff. This is a fantastic opportunity in an executive level role in the booming industry of telecommunications.
Essential Functions of the Job:         

Financial Preparation & Reporting

  • Review and present monthly summary of actual financial results.
  • Coordinate efforts with outside accounting firm in planning and preparation of reviewed/audited financial statements and income tax returns.
  • Prepare financial statements as necessary for internal and external use (based exclusively on client or financial institutional requirements).
  • Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets.
  • Project annual financial results based on actual and estimated future activities.
  • Prepare financial analysis as required to evaluate proposed company action(s).
Cash Flow Management
  • Monitor weekly and monthly cash flow and respond accordingly.
  • Determine if and when capital contributions and distributions are necessary and request accordingly.
  • Evaluate and secure outside funding sources if necessary and/or appropriate.
  • Monitor and ensure the timely collection of client billings.
  • Review weekly disbursements of funds.
Operational Responsibilities
  • Recommend and implement operational changes required to maximize company profitability.
  • Assist in the development of short- and long-term business strategies.
  • Evaluate the purchase of various entities to complement business strategies and services.
  • Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of appropriate accounting control procedures.
  • Review and assist in the preparation and submission of requests for proposals to various clients.
  • Maintain daily and/or weekly interaction with Widewaters Group’s Human Resource department to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Other 
  • Must demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality, integrity, and respect with candidates, team and business partners.
  • Obtain and coordinate with outside legal representation on required client contract changes.
  • Coordinate and assist in the qualification or renewed qualification process with new clients.
  • Ensure adequate insurance coverage is provided from insurance carriers for services performed and obtain additional policies when required.
  • Secure payment, performance or other necessary surety bonds as required by clients and/or municipalities.
Qualifications:Master’s Degree and Certified Public Accountant preferred; Ten to Fifteen years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires a valid New York State Driver’s License.
