Our Global HR team partners with our business leaders to attract, retain, and develop Hilton's most important asset, our Team Members.

What will I be doing?

As the Senior Associate, HR (Human Resources) Security & System Support, you will be responsible for the proper provisioning of system security by ensuring assignment and alignment of system access based on each user's job responsibilities within Hilton's Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud platform. You will work closely with the configuration team and partners to gather requirements and assist in role changes, role creation, and testing of both. Along with this, you will be responsible for the quarterly SOX audit process and work closely with internal audit and function leads to ensure team member data integrity and security.

In addition to System Security duties, you will also assist with system testing efforts, configuration support, documentation readiness, support for test pod maintenance, and engage on other HR Tech projects as needed.


  • Partner with the configuration team to maintain alignment and understanding of security roles and work on system changes as needed

  • Act as the authority (SME) for application security and become a trusted partner that business leaders can call upon for recommended guidance

  • Perform first level testing of security changes implemented within development environments to ensure the roles provide the access intended before handoff to the business

  • Own the quarterly Security audit process, working closely with the Internal Audit team to ensure adherence to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements

  • Keep up with SOX security compliance tasks as indicated by vendors and Hilton's Information Technology (IT) security team

  • Ensure timely response to all security tickets in ServiceNow opened by Hilton's HR shared services team with the highest level of customer service to provide a positive experience for Team Members

  • Manage test environment pods maintenance as directed by Release Management

  • Assist in updating and maintaining documentation in accordance with our governance process

  • Assist in the application configuration of the system as requested

  • Perform special projects as designated by the manager

Requirements

What are we looking for?

We believe the success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:


  • Experience with large company structures and a general understanding of HR business processes

  • Problem solver with functional/technical knowledge of modules within large on-premise or cloud-based HR systems

  • Interpersonal communicator with an aptitude for positively influencing Hilton's partners and ability to communicate effectively at all levels

  • A self-accountable individual with a "big picture" view to recognize downstream impacts, areas of improvements, and ways to become more efficient

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:


  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Three (3) years of professional work experience

  • One (1) year of HR systems experience

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:


  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree

  • Three to Five (3-5) years of HR systems security, configuration, or similar IT experience

  • Working knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud (or other cloud-based HCM systems) and the security that governs access
