About This Job

The ideal candidate for this position

will have significant revenue management experience in full service hotels. This individual is part of the opening team for this unique property in Nashville, TN. This role is strictly property based.

What you will be doing

  • Own revenue management needs for the hotel and train key hotel staff on revenue management related procedures.
  • Manage Group and Transient Inventory through various hotel systems.
  • Facilitate Revenue Management Meetings.
  • Assist General Managers with room revenue budget and RPI goals.
  • Provide Analytical Review of STAR reports, Monthly Performance and Market Conditions
  • Implement and Review Selling/Pricing Strategies and Internet availability.
  • Work with hotel sales to set BT and group rates.
  • Review Sellout Efficiency to maximize sell out through overbooks and selling patterns.
  • Provide Daily, Weekly and Monthly Revenue Management Reporting.
  • Work as the Liaisons between the Hotel and the Brand Revenue Management Support.
  • Provide Property Status reports to Regional RM, Operations Leaders and ownership.
  • Ensure integrity of the content through online distribution channels and OTAs.
  • Regularly review selling strategy for the next 90 days and adjust and monitor the overbook strategy for hotel.
  • Review the competitive pricing, adjust pricing of the hotels and review parity with all booking channels.
  • Review of the inventory roll-in, review the 365 day selling strategies of the hotel
  • Review all related reports and provide recommendations and feedback.
  • Audit Group Selling strategy for high and low demand period.
  • Review of incremental revenue sources.
  • Provide recommendation on negotiated pricing for the RFP season.
  • Conduct calls with OTA market managers to discuss the improvement revenues from OTA booking channels.
  • Research and Respond to any parity problems.
  • Enroll in brand promotions and ensure proper set-up and availability.
  • Develop value based packages for the hotels
  • Build Relationships with the Key Management Staff of the Hotel.  Role will be a part of the hotel’s executive committee.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four year college or university, a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience, Required. 
  • 10 Years of Successful Hotel Revenue Management Experience, Required. 
  • Hilton GRO Expertise, Required.
  • Large Hotel (350 Room), Group Oriented, Urban or Resort Experience, Highly Preferred.
  • Strictly property based
