Description This is a 3rd Shift Position from 11 pm to 7 am and requires an individual who has the ability to work on their own with integrity and respect for guests, visitors, and colleagues.$16-$17/hour

Requirements

Guest Service Night Audit Colleagues contribute directly to an outstanding experience for guests, visitors, and other colleagues by providing approachable and purposeful interactions, in-person or online, regularly coordinating with multiple team members & departments, and upholding high standards of professionalism, cleanliness, and safety.

Guest Service Night Audit Colleagues are the first & last interaction of each guest at Hyatt Place Portland Old Port. An ideal candidate for this position will be empowered to:

1. Provide an approachable friendly welcome over the phone, online, and/or upon physical arrival using provided cloud-based communication tools and property management systems.

2. Utilize CRM software to create signature experiences for high-energy professionals who want to balance the priorities of work and life; such as local recommendations and unexpectedly elevated amenities.

3. Professionally communicate with various departments to respond to guest needs and requests, assist in sales and marketing efforts, and provide guest feedback.

4. Ensure a clean and safe environment for guests, visitors, and colleagues by regularly cleaning, sanitizing, and inspecting work areas, service areas, and public areas used by guests.

Guest Service Night Audit Colleagues are responsible for the complete guest experience: Arrival, Guestroom, Social Spaces, Events, Drinking & Dining, Activities & Services, Departure.

Guest Service Night Audit Colleagues are also responsible for activities related to the end of day and month procedures: balancing banks, verifying postings & credit card information, daily and monthly reporting, balancing guest and property accounts, and more.

Previous guest service experience as well as the ability to communicate well with guests, visitors, and colleagues is required.

Qualifications:

Customer service experience is required, preferably in a hotel or related field Must have schedule flexibility for both AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays Requires strong command of the English language to include speaking, reading and writing Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced position with guest interaction Must be able to multi-task Must be 21 years or older A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs) Must possess basic computer skills, i.e. Word, Excel, etc.
