Guest Service Colleagues contribute directly to an outstanding experience for guests, visitors, and other colleagues by providing approachable and purposeful interactions, in-person or online, regularly coordinating with multiple team members & departments, and upholding high standards of professionalism, cleanliness, and safety.
Guest Service Colleagues are the first & last interaction of each guest at Hyatt Place Portland Old Port. An ideal candidate for this position will be empowered to:
Provide an approachable friendly welcome over the phone, online, and/or upon physical arrival using provided cloud-based communication tools and property management systems.
Utilize CRM software to create signature experiences for high-energy professionals who want to balance the priorities of work and life; such as local recommendations and unexpectedly elevated amenities.
Professionally communicate with various departments to respond to guest needs and requests, assist in sales and marketing efforts, and provide guest feedback.
Ensure a clean and safe environment for guests, visitors, and colleagues by regularly cleaning, sanitizing and inspecting work areas, service area and public areas used by guests.
Guest Service Colleagues are responsible for the complete guest experience: Arrival, Guestroom, Social Spaces, Events, Drinking & Dining, Activities & Services, Departure.
Previous guest service experience as well as the ability to communicate well with guests, visitors, and colleagues is required.
