You pitch in to help the room attendants with heavy lifting and attend to guest needs. And you love saving the day when you find that missing treasure, whether expensive valuable or precious sentiment.

Specific job duties for the Housekeeping House Person include but are not limited to:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Removing soiled linens from guest rooms
• Removing trash from guest rooms, employee work areas and all public areas
• Assisting with housekeeping inventory and stocking of housekeeping carts
• Maintain and clean all public areas and employee work areas. Including vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, cleaning public and employee restrooms, dusting and polishing floors and furniture throughout the property.
• Transporting trash and recycle receptacles for pickup.
• Receiving and stocking operational supplies orders.
• Operating laundry equipment, and folding linen.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and communicate clearly with management and co-workers.
• Any other tasks required by management.

The following knowledge, skills and abilities are required:

• Ability to work up to 8 hours, with bending, standing, stooping and stretching
• Able to push, bend, stand, and lift items up to 50 pounds repetitively.
• Good visual acuity
• Must be customer service oriented
• Basic English language skills
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, holidays.

Previous experience in housekeeping, porter or house person position is preferred.
