The Dishwasher/Prep Cook is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of all china, glass, and silver, and ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and cooking and preparing a variety of food products including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, stocks, breads and other food products using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the Daily Prep List. You will also support and assist the Chefs in banquets & main kitchen operations, completing all necessary preparation work to keep stock up to last the given time being served. You may be asked to assist with banquet prep and functions. He/she is also responsible for assisting in ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation and safety in the kitchen, and storage areas while minimizing waste and maximizing cost/production ratio and specifically for cleaning all equipment, utensils, and the physical work area.
Knowledge of Computer Hardware or Software: Operating knowledge of food management systems is helpful.
Kitchen equipment to be operated, but not limited to are: Flat grill, Pasta well, Steam table, Browning oven, Cheese chopper/grater, Steam jacket, Ovens, Top Burners, Pizza and Dessert Cooler, Slicer, Broiler, Steamer, and Knives.
