We are seeking a flexible and dynamic Marketing Manager to join our team on the beautiful Southern Oregon coast! The Marketing Manager designs, plans, implements and evaluates marketing, public relations and external tourism communications. Oversees content and advertising initiatives as they relate to The Mill Casino Hotel & RV Park strategic marketing plan to create strong brand identity and increase casino profitability. Principal Activities & Responsibilities

  • Create media plan and place buys monthly for property.
  • Assist in development of media budget and monitor related expenditures. Develop and maintain forecasting, budgeting and variances reports.

  • Manages production staff and their respective work schedules to meet all department advertising and collateral needs.

  • Provide strategic direction to support and facilitate the development and implementation of marketing plans for areas assigned.

  • Assist the Director to generate creative concepts and participate in marketing related activities that generate additional revenue.

  • Monitor deadlines and act as liaison between ad agencies, printers and graphic designers.

  • Review and approve copy for all marketing mediums and collateral ensuring consistent branding.

  • Assist in writing and developing direct mail pieces, in-house flyers, vouchers and coupons.

  • Oversee and coordinate production of the direct mail campaign working closely with the marketing database team and management. 

  • Coordinate web site management and email promotions. Assist in website content, mobile app content as needed

  • Act as liaison between all departments pertaining to internal marketing collateral needs.

  • Assist with event organization both locally and regionally.

  • Oversee the development and execution of tourism/marketing activities such as collateral, print, broadcast, bill boards, social media, online advertising and external marketing and tourism communications.

  • Lead and direct travel and tourism functions such as travel industry communications, tourism partner communications, state tourism activities and manage casino image with state wide tourism stakeholders.

  • Assist in the development of various tourism and group sales related campaigns to attract out of town visitors. Attract and work with travel writers to ensure positive promotion of the casino and the geographic region.

  • Coordinate property interior and exterior photo shoots and video production.



  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalent amount of work experience, formal education and training.
  • Minimum five (5) years of media and advertising/marketing experience.

  • Strong preference for candidates with casino hotel or a tourism related background, Tribal property a plus.

  • Previous supervisory experience required.

  • Strong social media skills across multiple platforms and proven ability to adapt to changing digital media.

  • Computer experience essential, including all windows applications. Must be proficient with MS Office.

  • Strong organization and administration skills required.

  • Knowledge and experience with web development and social media marketing.

  • Experience with direct mail marketing and use of database analytics.

  • Experience with photo shoots and video production.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work as part of a team to achieve departmental and company objectives.

  • Ability to work without supervision, to organize and track multiple projects with large amounts of detail necessary.

  • Ability to work under pressure situations with deadlines with a friendly, approachable and customer service oriented demeanor.

  • Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free workplace policies.

Additional Information

Salary:  $80,000 – $100,000
