Description

A Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintianing public areas of the hotel, assisting room/suite attendants with general cleaning of guest rooms and suites. This includes vacuuming, shampooing of carpets,; cleaning/waxing of floors; trash removal, stocking and maintiang supply rooms and other cleaning duties, cover overnight shifts when needed.  

 

A Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel and performs all stage of linene processing: sorting soled and unsoiled linen, loading and unloading washers and dryers, folding and storing linen, restocking suite carts. 



 

What will I be doing?

As a Houseperson, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintianing public areas of the hotel, assisting room/suite attendants with general cleaning of guest rooms and suites. This includes vacuuming, shampooing of carpets,; cleaning/waxing of floors; trash removal, stocking and maintiang supply rooms and other cleaning duties. 

As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel and performs all stage of linene processing: sorting soled and unsoiled linen, loading and unloading washers and dryers, folding and storing linen, restocking suite carts. 


  • Clean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms

  • Perform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays

  • Greet guests in a friendly manner

  • Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair

  • Stock and maintain supply rooms, as needed

  • Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as needed

  • Deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms, as needed

  • Clean laundry machinery

  • Assist in laundry inventories

  • Clean laundry area

  • Cover overnight House Attendant duties when needed
