About This Job

Overview:

Our growing Management company is currently searching for an outstanding Regional Director of Operations for our hotels located in GA and FL.

The Regional Director of Operations will provide multi-unit leadership, focusing and driving performance across all departments of the hotel, promoting a healthy work environment. Acting as a direct supervisor to General Managers, the RDO will provide support and resources, both in person and remotely. Other responsibilities (not an exhaustive list) may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Owns the Owner/Investor relationship.
  • Oversight of all financial aspects of each hotel in portfolio: P & L, CapEx, Forecasting and Budgeting.
  • Ensures operational excellence for all hotels in portfolio; provides support, critique and guidance to hotels falling short of brand standards and/or company expectations.
  • Ensure brand QA Compliance/Performance and approving action plans generated by hotel.
  • Acts as liaison for hotel General Managers and coaches, including but not limited to: Sales and Marketing, Finance, HR, Learning, Facilities, PR, Revenue Management and Owner Relations.
  • Acts as role model and provide guidance on company culture. Selects, develops, manages, and leads all team members.
  • Guides, develops, and implements policies, procedure, and systems to improve business operations.
  • Provides leadership relative to annual marketing plans.

Requirements

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Needed to Perform the Job:

  • Ability to lead others.
  • Ability to delegate and multi-task.
  • Ability to manage others virtually.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Thorough knowledge of the company’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Deep understanding and support of the company pillars.
  • Leadership skills including: coaching, mentoring, feedback and training.
  • Effective communicator.
  • Critical thinker and decision maker.
  • Travel at least 50% of the time.
  • Flexible on location.
  • Bi-Lingual will be a plus
  • Great ownership relations.

Education, Certifications or Licenses Needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in hotel industry.
  • Experience in multi-unit leadership strongly preferred.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • General Manager experience required.

All candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

compensation: From $60,000.00 per year
