Are you a skilled dog trainer who wants to help save the lives of homeless pets? Do you have significant management experience, great people skills, and a track record of working in a shelter setting, developing plans to help homeless dogs find homes or keep dogs in their homes? Best Friends Animal Sanctuary is hiring a full-time experienced manager who enjoys people, and is skilled in the latest, most effective and humane dog training techniques. You'll be developing and implementing dog training and behavior plans for many of the over 400 dogs who call the sanctuary their home-between-homes on any given day. While doing so, you'll also be mentoring our fabulous lifesaving and care staff and setting an example for what's possible for training programs in shelters and sanctuaries across the country, which will help us all achieve no-kill nationwide by the year 2025. You'll be a part of history-in-the-making and a new dawn for homeless pets! All from the majestic red rock canyons of southern Utah, where stunning views await you at the dawn of each work day.
