Overview

Crestline Hotels and Resorts is currently on the hunt for a creative and organized eCommerce Coordinator.  The ultimate goal of this role is to maximize the overall performance of hotels through the coordination of improved online presence. 

This position can be based either in the Crestline Corporate Office in Fairfax, VA or the Crestline Regional Office in Virginia Beach, VA.  Prior Hotel experience is preferred, but not required. 

Responsibilities

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Completes content and photos audits on OTA's and 3rd party sites. Makes necessary content updates to OTA’s and 3rd party sites.
  • Completes various projects and audits as they arise to assist in optimizing overall hotel visibility.
  • Ensures consistency, grammar and spelling are accurate, links are functioning and content is up-to-date.
  • Tracks and compiles monthly Ecommerce highlights, opportunities and return on investment with media spend as needed.
  • Reviews, edits and proofs content on hotel websites, email marketing, social media support, and online review sites.
  • Conducts competitor set audits on copy, packaging and messaging for properties as needed.
  • Maintains ongoing Ecommerce task and audit calendar and ensures deadlines are met.
  • Works with regional Sales, Operations, and on-site hotel team members to manage quarterly and/or seasonal copy updates on websites.
  • Aids in research and creation of presentations for management as needed.
  • Maintains updated files for photos, renovations and contact information, and complete data content requests.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

High school diploma or GED required.  Bachelor’s or Associate degree in the field is preferred.

EXPERIENCE

A minimum two years of experience in hotel, or sales and marketing field required.

Specific skills and abilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Ability to create or edit presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage and copy images in content management systems.
  • Detail orientated.
  • Projects focused.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Understand how to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes.
  • Able to use sound judgment; work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, with impending deadlines and/or established timeframes.
  • Performs well with frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
