We are currently seeking an energetic and passionate student as a Diversity & Inclusion Intern to join our Crescent Family for the Summer of 2021.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support to the Diversity & Council in their efforts to create programs, toolkits, events, and all initiatives.
  • Attend all meetings for the Diversity & Council and provide administrative support to council members.
  • Drafting, editing, and launching internal communications within Crescent.
  • Reviewing data and provide insight regarding opportunities to enhance Crescent’s Diversity & Equality initiatives.
  • Work closely with all departments including but not limited to, HR, Sales, Operations, Digital Strategy & Finance to help reach departmental goals regarding diversity and inclusion strategies.
  • Provide insight and research to assist in developing education and training opportunities.
  • Conduct research for DE&I programs.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education & Experience:

  • Must be currently enrolled at an accredited educational institution 
  • Must be actively pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of a 3.0 GPA
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills strongly preferred
  • Strong interest in Diversity & Inclusion initiatives strongly preferred
  • Prior experience working within your community or campus preferred
  • Ability to use Microsoft office products proficiently preferred
  • Ability to work in a collaborative manner within a team
  • Role based in Fairfax, VA  and is a paid internship
