About This Job

As a F&B Attendant, you would be responsible for serving food and/or beverages to guests in the hotel continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
  • Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
  • Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
  • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
  • Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
  • Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times
  • Clean and set up tables
  • Complete closing duties
  • Provides standard directions to be provided to guests
  • Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Must have 1 year position experience in customer service.

JOB DUTIES:

  1. Develops Enthusiastically Satisfied Customers All of the Time

  2. Welcomes and connects with every customer to provide excellent customer service.
  3. Discover customer needs and appropriately suggest product with every customer to enhance services and meet sales goals.
  4. Assists customers in the selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages and whole bean sales (as applicable).
  5. Responds to customers’ needs and says thank you to every customer.
  6.   Maintains customer service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner.
  7. Demonstrates problem resolution behavior when taking care of customer needs.
  8. Maintains Quality Store Operations
  9. Prepares a variety of customer beverage orders such as espresso drinks and Coffee to Sol Café standards.
  10. Follows store policies and procedures for operational flow at each station.
  11. Performs cleaning tasks in accordance with the Duty Rosters and cleaning standards and works as a store team player.
  12. Follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing all products.
  13. Performs equipment maintenance in accordance with preventive maintenance checklist.
  14. Financial Contribution.
  15. Follows cash handling and register policies.
  16. Follows inventory stocking and recording guidelines.
  17. Takes Responsibility to Learn All Aspects of the Barista Position.
  18. Learns and demonstrates creating the Sol Café Experience.
  19. Learns and demonstrates all performance standards by completing Initial Store Training and passing barista certification with a score of 90% or better.
  20. Follow hotel and Marriott brand standards.
  21. Follow hotel policies and procedures.
  22. Responsible for any other duties as assigned.

All positions require a criminal background check. This position will also require a credit check and drug screen.
