Description

Hilton’s Commercial Services organization is comprised of over 5,000 team members driving our sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions. These functions are the core of Hilton’s “commercial engine” and are key to Hilton’s ability to drive profitable growth.

What will I be doing?

The Analytics organization serves as internal consultants to key functions across the business with specialized support for the executive leadership team. The teams consist of both embedded subject matter experts, who serve as strategic advisors to key partners, and technical specialists. The organization is fully coordinated within the business functions to ensure close partnerships and optimally measure and drive company performance. Working with the Director, Digital Analytics, you will support the Customer Experience organization, provide day-to-day tactical support and strategic analysis to help them build and optimize Hilton’s digital guest experiences.

More specifically, you will:


  • Deliver analytics to answer business questions and outline business opportunities, optimization areas, and impacts

  • Use data and business knowledge to tell comprehensive and compelling stories to a variety of audiences and decision-makers

  • Provide analytical guidance, key performance indicators, and success metrics for individual tests, projects, product releases, MVPs, and recommendations based on data.

  • Deliver measurement recommendations, solution design, and technical specifications for digital analytics tracking

  • Create standard reporting, dashboards, and metrics so that everybody is speaking the same language

  • Partner with teams across the enterprise to link digital insights to broader impacts, particularly with Channel and Contact Center analysts to understand customer experience and journeys across channels

  • Support Customer Experience in improving digital product adoption and conversion via analysis and testing

  • Conduct root cause analyses for any data or product issues

  • Learn new tools as needed and emphasize continuous improvement

Requirements

What are we looking for?

We believe the success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:


  • Ability to engage audiences and present compelling narratives to business leaders

  • Strong value realization skills, including understanding the financial implications of initiating or foregoing a project

  • Familiarity with technical requirements of digital analytics tagging and tracking

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ambiguous, and changing business environment

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:


  • Five (5) years of professional experience

  • Three (3) years of Analytics experience

  • Two (2) years of deep experience with a web analytics platform, including tracking solution design and debugging (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics)

  • One (1) year of experience in report and dashboard design and development

  • Experience telling complex data stories to executive audiences

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:


  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Business, Computer Science or related field

  • Seven (7) years of professional experience

  • Three (3) years working with Adobe Analytics

  • One (1) year of testing and optimization experience

  • Experience with at least one coding language/query tool: SQL, Hive, Alteryx, R, SAS, Python

  • Experience with BI tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, SAS, Qlik, etc.)
