About This Job


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meets and exceeds customer and colleague expectations by providing excellent customer service and teamwork.
    • Provides value added service to the customers by doing whatever is reasonable and possible to meet or exceed customer expectations.
    • Communicates effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
    • Demonstrates teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed.
    • Handles difficult situations effectively meeting the service standards.
    • Performs other duties as required to provide excellent service and teamwork.
  • Balances the room audits with the night summary.
    • Assumes responsibility for overall security of guests, hotel personnel, and property by working closely with graveyard security.
    • Oversees emergency operation to insure guest safety and minimize losses and liability.
    • Takes corrective action in emergency, and then files appropriate report to supervisor.
  • Provides FOM and Director of Rooms with summary of activities during shrift by preparing and distributing written daily log.
    • Runs computer through nightly processing sequence to reset for next day’s use in balancing applicable functions.
  • Reviews all credit card vouchers for proper imprints, authorizations and correct amounts.
    • Prepares and transmits credit card deposits.
    • Processes all city ledger work to accounting.
    • Prints separate calculator tapes for designated categories of work.
    • Organizes and dates the work for processing.
  • Keeps supervisor fully informed of all problems or matters of significance.
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company colleagues to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment.
  • Adheres to company policies and procedures.
    • Attends work as scheduled.
    • Follows hotel’s dress and grooming standards.
    • Minimizes safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures

  • Minimum of one year supervisory experience in a high volume setting preferred
  • Previous working overnight experience preferred
  • Previous hospitality experience in Luxury organization preferred
  • Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write in the basic English language
  • Ability to effectively communicate and provide directions in a clear, concise and professional manner in both verbal and written form
  • Demonstrate ability to compute basic arithmetic
  • Must be available to work varied shifts, flexible schedule, weekends and holidays
