About This Job

The Breakfast Attendant/Host creates an experience for our hotel guests by offering them a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment.  This position is primarily responsible for the guest experience in the Guest Kitchen, where the complimentary breakfast is served. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare breakfast food
  • Assist with set up and tear down of the breakfast area
  • Ensure cleanliness of breakfast area at all times
  • Greet and assist guests,  monitor the breakfast area to ensure guest needs are being met
  • Clean brekfast and kitchen area, remove used dishes and wipe tables and chairs
  • Ensure the dining area is safe at all times


  • Customer service experience is required, preferably in a hotel, food and beverage or related field
  • Must have schedule flexibility for weekends and holidays; ability to work early morning hours
  • Requires strong command of the English language
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced position with guest interaction
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight (minimum 25 pounds)
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
