Restaurants at the Thompson Dallas are energetic, high energy, independent and exquisitely appointed spaces.  The dining rooms are very reminiscent of the original design of our historic building while adding modern touches designed to ignite the senses of our guests.  Our cuisine will be from scratch, globally inspired yet reminiscent and at times classic.  Our cocktails will both be a nod to the classics while making a heavy nod to fresh innovative beverages to enjoy inside or on our pool deck.


Thompson Dallas, the Texas debut at The National, a 52 story building boasting a midcentury-modern hexagon design, rising prominently above the Dallas skyline. Designed to encompass an entire city block, Thompson Dallas will offer 219 guestrooms including 52 suites, 2 defining dining options and 20,000 sq feet of stunning event space. Other amenities will include a resort style pool, custom curated fitness facility, spa, and dog park. Thompson Dallas will bring guests and community together through an inspired tribute to history, design and culture.


The right person should be familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar. Preferred candidates will have understanding of state and local serving guidelines.   This is would be an experience for the guest that is transformational and intimate not, a burn and churn quick drinks.

  • Curation of complicated cocktail knowledge
  • Refined verbal communication skills.
  • Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
