The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for the administration responsibilities of our busy Human Resources office including but not limited to; I-9 management through E-Verify, employee database entry, background processing, maintaining open job positions and postings, filing and new hire paperwork.  This position requires a high level of confidentiality and extremely strong computer skills.

Essential Functions

  • Support local recruitment by maintaining job postings and applicant management processes
  • Complete reference and background checks per company standards.
  • Process DOL requests for information and verifications of employment.
  • Assist employees with registering to use the employee portal
  • Sort and distribute all mail for Lodge.
  • Process and file new hire paperwork.
  • Assist with J1 and H2B recruitment and housing administration processes.
  • I-9 management through E-Verify.
  • Employee database entry through EIS.
  • Maintaining employee files to standard.
  • Assisting with rent processing and tracking
  • Assisting with all recordkeeping
  • Other tasks as assigned.

 


Qualifications

  • 2-4+ years in an Office Administration or Human Resources role
  • Experience in Hotels and/or Hospitality preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • College degree in (Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Human Resources or Business) preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Computer proficiency; to include but not limited to: Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills, Windows, Employment tracking systems.
  • Experience in: E-Verify, EIS, ADP and Kronos encouraged but not required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Like most jobs in the hospitality industry, this position requires a flexible schedule, possibly working in other departments, working holidays, weekends, events, and long hours as necessary to support the business.
