The Lead Cyber Security Architect will establish security architecture for assigned subject matter domain, including standards and frameworks that are aligned with overall business strategy to meet business needs and adhere to regulatory and internal requirements to include: Sarbanes-Oxley, payment card industry standards and Gaming regulations . The will be required to stay abreast of new security technologies and integrate into security architecture design when appropriate.


  • Work closely with Security Engineering, Security Operations, Enterprise architecture, Infrastructure and IT operations teams.  
  • Oversees the development and maintenance of security standards including, but not limited to, network infrastructure, wireless and mobile infrastructure, operating systems, databases, applications, and emerging technologies.  
  • Understand current as well as emerging security threats. Identify security architecture capabilities and design security architecture patterns to mitigate threats.
  • Assess emerging technologies against security architecture to determine where they fill gaps, overlap with existing solutions or extend capabilities.
  • Serve as information security subject matter expert; provide advisory and consulting services as needed.
  • Review existing and proposed architectures, identify security design gaps, and recommend changes or enhancements.
  • Participate in solution architecture design; lead security efforts assisting with the integration and initial implementation of solutions
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field; or equivalent work 
  • Eight (8) years experience as a Cyber Security Engineer, or Systems Design Architect with a demonstrated track record in the development and deployment to production of increasingly more complex solutions.
  • Familiar with IT governance and compliance concepts, practices and procedures, which includes IT General Controls, PCI-DSS, SOX and Gaming MICS (Minimal Internal Control Standards). 


  • CISSP, CISM and/or CISA highly desired.
  •  Previous experience building, deploying, supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting Cyber Security solutions.
  • Previous experience working in a similar industry as hospitality or technology department.


  • Nevada Gaming License.
  • Michigan Gaming License.
  • Any additional gaming licenses as required.
