Job Summary

The Sr. Manager, Card Product Benefits is a key member of the Global Card Product Management and Loyalty team.  In partnership with several leading financial institutions, this role is responsible monitoring and managing card benefits, cardmember experiences, and consumer sentiment across all Global Cards.  This role is focused on developing and improving the card member experience, with a focus on innovation and card member engagement to keep the portfolio top of wallet.

Candidate Profile

Education And Experience
  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major and 4+ years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance;

OR

  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience in of relevant professional experience in marketing or related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance
  • Significant marketing and product management responsibility, with track record of growth
  • Banking/Credit Card/Hospitality marketing experience a plus
  • Experience in executing digital marketing plans desired  

Core Work Activities

Loyalty Management

Oversee card member benefits and experiences ensuring all product benefits work seamlessly to create a best in class cardmember experience and drive profitability including but not limited to:

  • Monitor the share of wallet, customer sentiment and benefits of each of the card portfolios
  • Own yearly marketing calendar ensuring proper cadence of communications
  • Implement promotions and other programs to drive share of wallet and lower attrition
  • Manage email and digital communications that inform card members of new benefits/offers, changes to current benefits, or fulfillment of benefits
  • Own trigger-based marketing
  • Work closely with New Product Development team to refresh, develop, and launch new benefits as needed to remain ahead of the competitive set
  • Partner with loyalty team to integrate relevant cobrand messaging into Loyalty marketing channels (and vice versa)
  • Support creative and card brand changes, partnering with Loyalty Marketing to maintain current loyalty branding and identity
  • Finance liaison for bonus code set up and tracking
  • Work with capabilities team to ensure flawless execution of promotions and benefit fulfillment on the backend

Cardmember Engagement

  • Manage card member events and other activities to drive loyalty and improve card member sentiment (NPS)
  • Partner with Moments team to promote and integrate card member engagement with Loyalty member engagement activities
