The Inn at St. John's, a luxury AAA 4-Diamond property is seeking an experienced Director of Sales & Marketing to join our team!
The Inn at St. John’s is actively searching for an experienced Director of Sales & Marketing. We promote a professional atmosphere in our sales department that revolves around taking ownership in each sales manager's role on the team. We foster an environment where individuals are encouraged to develop close professional relationships with our clients.
As an essential member of the Sales department, the Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for maintaining existing accounts and actively soliciting new business for the hotel including business travel, group business and leisure travelers. The qualified candidate will be responsible for implementing strategies to generate revenues to maximize the financial expectations of the hotel. This position works very closely with the Managing Director to maximize ADR and occupancy for the property. Must stay proactive and interact with all departments.

In October of 2000, the redevelopment of the main buildings into The Inn at St. John’s Conference Center created spaces for corporate and social conferences, wedding receptions and Catholic celebrations. December of 2005 saw the addition of a Grande ballroom space with room for up to 450 guests. The center features stately Romanesque architecture, beautifully renovated to reflect its heritage; two regal ballrooms showcasing 25-foot ceilings with hand-painted inlays; a breathtaking two-story Atrium room; and twenty-two distinct meeting rooms, each with exterior windows for a bright, comfortable setting.
In January of 2006 The Inn at St. John’s hotel and 5ive Steakhouse and Bar opened for business. With 118 luxury guestrooms, this distinct setting offers all the modern conveniences of a large hotel, but in an intimate setting.
With the launch of The Burger Loft in 2013, the property now offers both upscale and casual dining experiences.
St. John’s golf course began with nine holes in the property’s earliest years and grew to 18 when the golf greens opened to the public in 1979. In the 1990’s, during the property’s redevelopment, nine more were added, creating the 27-hole course that now exists on site.
Today, The Inn at St. John’s continues to offer guests impeccable service and a distinctive ambiance unsurpassed in Southeast Michigan. For meetings, conferences, weddings and a host of important occasions, the legacy of The Inn at St. John’s lives on.
