Driftwood Hospitality Management is growing!  This newly created position reports to the Director of Owner Relations to support this expansion.  This position is responsible for creating a positive client representative experience by demonstrating genuine care and delivering unmatched service for external and internal customers while leading interactions and consistently exceeding expectations.  Provides value that positively impacts clients’ businesses and results in retention and growth. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Field inbound calls and emails from hotel owners and asset managers; act as a primary point of contact for a subset of hotel owners and asset managers
  • Assist with monthly capital spending financial reporting; assist with various ad hoc financial analytics
  • Collaborate with internal Accounting, Treasury and Operations teams to research financial questions
  • Assists with value-added projects such as annual business plan preparation and technology integration into existing processes
  • Learn to read and understand financial statements for hotels
  • Become proficient in using accounting, purchasing and hotel financial systems to find answers to questions.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Job Skills & Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills, superior intellect, and an outstanding ability to communicate a must. Outstanding financial and analysis skills, oral and written communication, and relationship-building skills.  Demonstrable problem-solving skills; strategic and creative thinking.  History of effective multi-tasking, expectation setting and escalation of issues where appropriate.  Project management skills with strong attention to detail.  A self-starter who thrives on task ownership and accountability. Someone who pays high attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.  Thinks strategically and executes methodically on tactical projects. This individual is focused on actionable solutions and outcomes and have a "roll up your sleeves" orientation. 

Preferred

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management

Hotel Industry experience

3+ years business work experience
