About This Job

Westmont Hospitality Group Inc. is actively seeking a dynamic, exceptionally knowledgeable and hands on Regional Director of Operations to join our phenomenal corporate team. This position is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of a portfolio of upper upscale and multi branded hotels, ensuring exceptional results. Position is remote-based and requires 50-60% travel across the United States.

The Regional Director of Operationswill provide the leadership expertise that ensures the effective and efficient operation of the portfolio of hotels assigned, including but not limited to, the achievement of stated operational goals and profitability objectives.The role of the Regional Director of Operations is to examine, analyze and evaluate the operations of hotels to ensure achievement of established goals and adherence to company and brand policies. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, focused on quality, detail-oriented and performance driven.

Job Responsibilities include:

Accountable for the overall revenue, financial performance and guest satisfaction results across the hotels assigned.

Provide leadership, guidance and support to the General Managers and property teams in the attainment of operational and profitability goals.

Develop and implement well-defined strategies to improve performance and profitability at each hotel that are in sync with the Company’s defined objectives.

Continual communication with the Hotel General Managers and corporate support personnel to ensure that priorities for revenue management, sales, cost controls, team leadership and guest service quality are attended to consistently.

Ensure that all hotels in the region follow applicable Brand standards and asset upkeep.

Conduct property visits to hotels across the country.

Ability to communicate effectively in ownership meetings with detailed financial, operational, revenue management, marketing, and competitive analysis expertise.

Budgeting, forecasting, planning, sales development and other related business management skills are essential.

Ability to maintain a motivating, positive work environment that holds team members accountable for the results.

Identify and help develop future leadership and bench strength.

Support a proactive Human Resources function and ensure compliance with all state, federal and local employment and labor laws and regulations


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience, required.
  • 15 (Fifteen) Years of Hotel Related Experience, highly Preferred.
  • Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt Brand experience preferred
  • Above property, multi-unit experience, highly preferred.
