The Opportunity 

Delaware North Boston is hiring for a Vice President of Business Strategy to join the TD Garden team in Boston, Massachusetts. As the VP, Business Strategy, you will be responsible for leading business intelligence, business solutions and digital marketing functions within the Boston Bruins, TD Garden and Delaware North Boston subsidiary. You will research, plan, define, articulate, and manage the ongoing execution of organizational goals.

  • Lead and manage the creative and strategic functions of business intelligence, business solutions, and digital marketing for the Boston Bruins and TD Garden.
  • Develop and support complex analytical processes and procedures to identify risks and opportunities in the origination and creation of product and product positioning.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of revenue impact from a given set of variables: strategic evaluation, including business plan development, business turnarounds, new business implementation, and marketing strategy development.
  • Construct digital strategies that leverage and build purposeful marketing ecosystems for a brand, engaging customers with high-value content that creates brand affinity.
  • Recommend and prioritize an appropriate mix of communication strategies and tactics in the digital space to drive brand awareness, engagement, and traffic.
  • Act as a key liaison with the National Hockey League and influence, through data, key internal and external business decisions.
  • Develop strategies involving front-end and back-end development for websites, CRM programs, and apps including personal selling, and eCommerce.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Masters/MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in strategic planning, sales/marketing, business development, and analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with information systems and/or strong ability to quickly learn new information systems.
  • Excellent ability to establish rapport with others and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Experience with management and value of data warehouse to empower data-driven decision making within an organization
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce Sales & Marketing Cloud
  • Knowledge of predictive modeling techniques such as regression analysis for response modeling, customer profiling, and segmentation, needs analysis, and other types of quantitative and qualitative campaign analysis techniques required.
  • Approximately 10% business travel is required.
