About This Job

The Sheraton Park City is currently seeking an experienced Night Auditor to join our AWESOME Front Office Team. We would prefer someone with night audit/front desk experience.

The Night Auditor completes the audit of all departments as well as assisting guests with check-ins and customer service.


You’re like the super hero of accounting. You arrive in the night, dive deep into the books, and reveal anything out of place. You leap to the front desk, attending to that travel-weary guest. And with accurate precision before the sun rises, you draw a clear picture using the night’s data for the new day’s action. Who was that? It could be you as Night Auditor for our hotel!  


  • Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Micros tapes and journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out, and settlements by type and cashier.
  • Run audit reports and journals from all credit card and computer systems.
  • Input revenue, expenses, and allowance to generate required daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary.
  • Balance all revenue and settle accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for the next day's operations.
  • Make corrections and adjustments and handle any computer issues that may arise.
  • Ensure all reports and back-up vouchers are complete and filed properly.
  • Ensure all necessary copies of documentation and reports of daily work are distributed to the proper department.
  • Review and correct discrepancies in the Front Desk System.
  • Coordinate the front desk and restaurant/bar closing to facilitate a smooth operation of file maintenance and reset of systems for next day operations.
  • Diligently fulfill responsibilities of front desk supervision, guest service agent, reservations agent, and telephone operator as needed.
  • Maintain focus on guest, ensuring pleasant, efficient experience when checking 1n/out or resolving issues.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager.
