Le Meridien St Louis Clayton is currently looking for a dedicated Restaurant Manager to join our F&B team!

JOB OVERVIEW:

As a Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the restaurant, bar, coffee station, pool, and in-room dining with a focus on exceptional guest service.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for the oversight of personnel. Interview, hire, train, conduct performance evaluations, and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate.
  • Maintain open-door policy and communicate with associates openly and honestly to resolve any concerns
  • Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the outlets to meet the daily needs of the operation.
  • Develop, implement and monitor schedules for the operation of all outlets to achieve a profitable result.
  • Oversee operations of 3 meal restaurant, bar, in-room dining, pool, and coffee bar.
  • Implement upscale craft cocktail program, including the Le Meridien sparkling program
  • Manage day to day operations of the coffee bar, and implement Le Meridien coffee culture standards
  • Manage in-room dining program..
  • Implement effective control of food, beverage and labor costs of outlets to hotel standards.
  • Ensure all outlets are in compliance with corporate and brand standards.
  • Champion guest service focus in all outlets.
  • Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to food safety and the serving of alcoholic beverages.
  • Perform any other job duties assigned by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Knowledge of Micros system preferred
  • Craft Cocktail background and knowledge preferred
  • Café/Coffee background a plus
