Research, review, draft, manage and analyze documents and materials to meet company policy and ensure corporate compliance with local, state and national laws
Research laws, regulations and apply same to business and advise business on the same
Support acquisition, creation and sales of new timeshare projects and advise on support and legal compliance of the same
Develop policies and procedures related to legal compliance and build and deliver training and guidance to non-legal team members as needed.
Specific duties include: reviewing consumer facing documentation such as public offering statements, purchase agreements and related disclosures as well as advertising materials, (including special promotions, sweepstakes, scripts, etc.), for legal compliance. Create program rules and programs as needed, obtain and maintain regulatory licenses as needed, review or prepare agreements with vendors, and review and respond to regulatory agency and internal client inquiries. Review project governing documents and prepare summaries or advice regarding the same, as needed.
Must have knowledge of privacy, real estate, consumer protection and intellectual property matters as related to business enterprises.
Must pay attention to detail, be highly organized, be able to prioritize work
Excellent written communication required.
